The school is accommodated in a custom-built school designed by western architects and has all the design features of a modern British school.
There are numerous classrooms and facilities: Science laboratories, Computer suites, Art, Music and Physical Education rooms and age appropriate libraries.
2007 saw a rapid expansion in facilities to incude a 1000 seat state of art theatre, a new secondary school building, a 3rd indoor sports hall and a 25 metre indoor swimming pool.
Design and Technology
The school has a fully equipped Design and Technology suite, enabling pupils to develop their thinking and practical skills, whilst completing practical projects. Pupils use design and technology to try out new processes, helping them to communicate what they see, feel and imagine.
Music
Our music facilities are excellent and all of our pupils are encouraged to take up and develop their musical skills. Our ultra modern Music Technology suite is equipped with state-of-the-art Apple technology that allows all pupils, regardless of ability, to be involved in music programmes. There are a number of practice rooms where pupils can develop their individual performance skills.
Dance and Drama
The school has an excellent Theatre that can seat over 1000 people at a time. It is excellent for school productions as well as being a favourite venue for assemblies, special events and many social evenings organised by the Parents and Friends Association.
Technology
All of our classrooms are networked and there are six ICT suites throughout the Infant, Primary and Secondary Schools. There are wireless access points that allow IB students to access the internet for research. Years 5 and 6 have access to a mobile Laptop cart on the top floor of the Primary Building with wireless internat access. We are always looking to improve, develop and upgrade our ICT facilities and we shall soon be enjoying wireless access across the secondary school.
Pupils are also encouraged to use technology in other subject areas, providing them with skills and confidence to use new technology and information sources independently. Most teachers encourage the use of our interactive whiteboards to aid the teaching of subjects. We have our own Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) using Moodle. Science Laboratories
There are specialist laboratories with facilities for all three science disciplines, where pupils are encouraged to understand the natural world in which they live.
Sports Facilities
The school has excellent sports facilities. There are three indoor sports halls, a 25-metre indoor swimming pool, several all-weather surface areas, tennis courts, a full size football pitch.
There are also age appropriate outside play areas for the younger children.
Library
There are two libraries, one for the primary school and one for the senior school. All pupils are encouraged to use the facilities and most books are sourced in the UK.
