Uniform differs throughout the school to reflect the growing maturity and changing needs of children and young adults of different ages.  At the upper end of the school, we ask our IB students to follow a business dress code, rather than wear a fixed uniform, as this helps to prepare them for life beyond school.

To come into line with our new branding, we have this year updated the logo which appears on uniform articles, replaced several items altogether, and introduced many new items.  Note that we have made a conscious effort to improve the quality of clothing and to accommodate students' and parents' wishes with regard to colour and design whilst at the same time introducing as few changes as possible in order to eliminate the cost factor associated with unnecessary changes.  Please do note that both old and new uniform styles will be fully acceptable for a period of one year from August 2010 until July 2011.  

The School Shop is not yet fully stocked.  With the colder weather approaching, all children must be warmly dressed.  If a uniform article is not yet available, students will not be penalised for wearing their own clothing.  We request only that students are suitably and modestly dressed at all times.

The School Shop is located in the Main Reception area.  Opening hours are 8.30am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday (closed for lunch between 1pm - 2pm and public holidays).

PreNursery, Nursery, Reception and Primary School Uniform

The PreNursery, Nursery, Reception and Primary School pupils wear a different uniform to meet their different needs. The school uniform for these year groups includes the following;

• Cardigan, Long Sleeve - Navy 100% cotton
• T-Shirt - Teal Cubs (Nursery only) 100% cotton
• Polo, Short Sleeve - Teal 100% cotton
• Polo, Long Sleeve - Teal 100% cotton
• Trousers - Grey 100% cotton 
• Summer Dress - Blue/white check 100% cotton (no change but with new badge) 
• Boys Shorts - Grey 100% cotton 
• Girls Skort - Grey 100% cotton
• Girls Skirt - Grey 100% cotton (new item) 
• Girls Pinafore - Grey 100% cotton (new item)  

Secondary School Uniform

The Secondary School uniform consists of school wear and a PE kit. The Secondary School uniform includes the following:

• Blazer (remains as is but with new badge)
• School Tie

• Shirt, Short Sleeve
• Sweater, Long Sleeve - Navy 100% cotton
• Sweater, Sleeveless - Navy 100% cotton
• Cardigan - Navy 100% cotton

• Girls Tartan Skirt (this item is still in the design process)

Notes

• The PE Kit is not needed until children reach Reception School.
• Every student is allocated a house. Students wear their house T-Shirt at school sports events to support their house.

Shoes and Socks

• Please note that sensible black leather school shoes are required.  Shoes can be purchased from the School Shop or other shoe retailer.
• Students can choose to wear white, grey or black socks, or black tights. Children in Early Years may wear black, grey or navy tights.  The School Shop does not stock socks or stockings.
